Super Bust!

I have noticed that the pre-frenzy of this years superbowl is really disappointing, that is until you realize that it is being held in Detroit. Yeah I know I did the same thing, you repeat the statement as a question because part of you can't believe it....Detroit?

You know what is in the forecast for Detroit this year? Yeah snow for most of the week. Which means that people have to stay indoors for most of the week, man that would suck. Can you imagine if your a guy that has been waiting his entire life to go to the Superbowl and this year you somehow are granted by the grace of god tickets only to find out that it is being held in Detroit...not some warm, sunny, bikini wearing climate but rather some cold, dark, crappy city what is known more for its crime than its football.

That being said my aggression is growing toward the Seahawks everyday that I see Holmgren on T.V. projecting his ultimate wisdom...remembering better days here in Wisconsin under his reign.

So with that I have started to become a Steelers fan...and if they win I am pretty sure that they will become my adopted team....well at least until the Packers find their way again.....Oh and the whole Brett Farve retirement deal is getting stupid but that is for the next post.

Did You Ever Try?

I have been toying with the idea of finally, after two years, reserving my pLARGE domain name. Which means it would be www.plarge.com....and dropping the blogspot. The reason...Well it just seems cooler.

Anyway, I went out to Go Daddy to secure the name and found out it is taken already....And much to my surprise it is taken by a company that promises penile enlargement...I know, so logical but never thought of it.

This is so story of my life.

It's Not You....It's Me

Yes again we are at the end of January which means two full weeks before the Superbowl. This year we have Seattle Seahawks (Yes Sophie that would be "hawks" to you) and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

I have to bring this up because the Packers used to have Mike Holmgren as their coach. Under his toolage we went to back to back superbowls and won one of them. Under his toolage we were a quarterback factory, other than Farve, Holmgren took Mark Brunnell who is the starting QB for Washington and took them to the playoffs, Aaron Brooks who is the starting QB for New Orleans. Then there is the big boy, Matt Hasselbeck who is the starting QB for Seattle and going to the superbowl. The sky's during this time were always sunny and the football gods looked down on us with smiles.

Not anymore, we have turned into the boyfriend that breaks up with the girl saying that it is us, not them, only to look back 3 years later while you are drunk and in a horrible relationship while the person you broke up with are doing great and couldn't be happier.....Crap!!!

On the radio today I heard Bob and Brian make this analogy. The Packers are Jennifer Anaston and Seattle and Holmgren is Brad Pitt with Angelina Jolie. Next thing you know your hubby is having kids and a perfect marriage while you end up with Vince Vaughn.....Crap.

I am jaded and while I say that I wish him all the best, reality is that I hope no ill will on him but I would be happy to see him get his ass handed to him by the Steelers.

KT is much cooler than Katie....

My wife posted a blog yesterday on KT Tunstall. I would like to just add my two cents worth. Every once in a while a musician comes along that could very well change the landscape of music and not just redefine it but add a whole new category. She is memorizing to listen to but to watch her is even more amazing. Jen saw her on The Today's Show concert series, but this wasn't just any concert series. See KT just showed up three days before she was aired, yep just had the balls to walk in the front door, get in front of the executive producer and give a performance good enough to be put on the show three days later. Yeah so they had to open up 5 minutes of time for her....5 minutes of advertisement...Of getting paid....She was that good.

She is young, inventive and so very talented. If you would like to see her in action and I know you will go here because it is so much fun to watch.

Yeah So.....

you know my previous post....yep I got it too.

Last week sucked, Monday I was ok. Tuesday my sore throat wasn't going away and since Jen had strep I figured that I better go to the doctor before it got worse. So I did, I felt pretty good really just this stupid throat thing. Well after filling my prescription and getting home I preceeded to spend the next 3 straight days in the bathroom. I couldn't even take a drink of water without it it coming up..yeah gross I know. I actually now know how a dog feels when his water dish is empty and they end up pushing the bowl around the kitchen to get your attencian....if we ever get another dog I will never let that happen again because when your body needs water and you give it water then it preceeds to reject the same water that it needs so badly.....that is a sucky flu.

Speaking of dogs She came home the other day from work and proceeded to tell me about how her co-worker is breeding their dog. Yeah so she was feeling me out to see how I would respond. I had visions of a nice dog that followed you around the yard or on walks. To sit by your feet and keep them warm and to protect you in case there are burglers or something. Oh did I forget to tell you what kind of dogs they are....oh only a Great Dane....Yeah a Great "f$Q%$%@#$" Dane. Are you kidding me? Now I have met these dogs and they are one of the nicest dogs you'll ever own, gentle and caring with big hearts. But can you imagine the size of their shit that would have to be picked up? I mean we had a beagle and couldn't keep up with the little turds let alone big piles of shit.

So to my Wife I am going to have to say a big ol' NO!

These are a few of my favorite things....

Let me tell you how much I just love it when my kids get sick. It may be the best part of being a parent...period. I just love getting awaken at 1:30AM by "Dad, I just puked in my bed", at which point I get up to clean up the bed, pillows, blankets and even stuffed animals that have been so violated by the liquidy projectile.

Oh and lets not forget the fun it is when liquid comes out both ends....umm yeah!!! Even when they make it to the bathroom on time they can only use one end at any given moment, but how cute is it when both ends are working fantastic....I know, pictures should be taken but I couldn't pry myself away from such cutenesss.

Oh and lets not forget the most wonder aspect of all of this...when all this fun gets transfered to the older sibling...yeah double the fun!!!. I mean cleaning up the car due to uncontrolable human sickness is by far way better than anything else a parent could ask for.

So if anyone out there is wondering if we are going to procreate another little wonderful bundle of joy think about it...how could you not with such wonderful joy they bring to our lives.

Hyperbaric Chamber

How long has it been since we have seen the sun? Oh I know, it was out for all of 5 minutes yesterday but by the time I got my shoes and jacket on to take a walk it was gone again. Toying with me anyway, Now you see me, now you don't what an A-Hole!

So during this time I found that I very well could be the laziest person alive, staying in my PJ's until the guilt overwhelmed me. I decided to get up and go upstairs and change but got side tracked by a nap.....stupid winter!

I actually left the house on Saturday night to pick up a movie from my sister at which point I decided that I didn't want to make any supper that evening. Well there is a little resturant around the corner that has been there forever (Marc's Supper Club for those that know Sheboygan). Broasted Chicken sounded pretty good but it meant that I would have to sit at the bar and waste some time (and by waste time it meant drink a couple of beers).

So the chicken was good the potato's were burnt and bread not even warm but the beer was ice cold and went down smooth.

So now I sit here knowing the garbage has to go out and I need to go work out hoping the sun will come out soon.....Please!

Going out with a Vengence!

Yeah, so Jen was sleeping by 11:30 and I barely made it to midnight. We kissed at 12:00:01 (for the extra second we added) and were sleeping by 12:15.

Happy New Year everyone, 2006 should be a good one.
