Ego Boost

Dad wants to play golf again and after my innical excitement of actually being able to go hit that ball around jen did make a comment.....

"he must have had a bad week in league and needs an ego boost"

I had to giggle because as fortune would have it he informed me that a 49 was on his card. Well when shit goes to the birds stop what you are doing and go back to something that works.....Like laughing incessantly at your son who can not only not beat him but now has to show off his new driver that he hits 5-10 yards farther.

All I had in life was my ability to be able to out drive my 65...I mean 64 yr old man....Now........Oh wooies me!

So I ordered my books for school last week and am happy to say that all have arrived except for my communication class. See this professor has decided that it would be a good idea to set it up that students can only get books from a local used bookstore. yep not even the campus bookstore has them. Now being this is the case those of us that don't live in Milwaukee need to call up the bookstore and order them and have them sent to us. Now I don't know about any of you but I know what those bookstore owners look like and lets just say that they are not the speediest people aaahhh, who spilled the bong water man?

So I called last week and the only way to actually talk to these people is to leave a message for them to call you back. So that is just what I did.......A week ago!

People! I need my books, CD's and any other unwanted solitation that comes with getting these books. First off the professor needs to get off his ass and realize that the people taking online courses don't live in Milwaukee and second how about looking into some books the campus bookstore might be able to keep on hand? More than likely he is some old professor that has tenure and could care less about actually helping his students learn but rather he is taking a stand against the institution that is morally disillusioning the great people who attend to only increase their marketability to potencial employer's. These same people will only be knocked down by the man so his job is to take his stand and only hurt those students by his actions.....I mean really people lets get our social activism straight, mmmmmmk?

so now I have to wait for a phone call from some hippie, pot smoking, dread wearing, non shower taking, munchie craving bookstore owner......heavy sigh
