Presidental votes based on.......THE FLU!
So the other day I am talking to a buddy. We are talking about how it takes like 3 or 4 years for the flu vaccine to be produced, so the job of the drug companies is to try to predict how much is going to be needed. So what we will see is a shortage for the next couple of years until they can catch up on production....Then I said "yea will I bet Bush will get blamed for this too". It was off the cuff comment....
Flash too
AP Elyria, OH: The presidential candidates lobed charges at one another Saturday: President George W. Bush saying that his Democratic opponent "can run, but he can't hide;" and Sen. John Kerry accusing the Bush administration of knowing in advance about the flu vaccine shortage. Kerry accused the Bush administration of misleading Americans about the shortage of flu vaccine this season.
Oh that is rich, that is out of this world...

Another reason why there is a shortage on the flu vaccine is because the Clinton administration made an agreement with a company overseas to make this vaccine. It was supposed to be free for the "children" so they would never have to go without receiving the vaccine; paid for by the government, of course. Sadly, they sent us a contaminated batch that had to be dumped. There is more to this story, but I have to refresh my memory. It's something about the agreement and how the overseas company decided it's not profitable for them to make any more vaccine.

How come my "comment" regarding the flu vaccine hasn't been posted yet? Did someone delete it?
