Warm fuzzies

I have only been on the job now for a little over 2 months with real "behind the desk" experience for about a month or so. We hired a new guy to do my job at the other plants on second shift, so yesterday they asked me to train him. He got to follow me around, see how I did check in's, relate to the line leads and my employees...and he gave me a great compliment in that I had a great system compared to the other guy he was with for a while.

So this morning he asked to be with me for the whole shift. At about 8am I had someone come upstairs and say that there were a bunch of people all freaked out cuz they thought I was leaving. Then for the next two hours I was answering questions about whether I was leaving, how they finally found someone that was good....

Yeah I know...enough to make you puke isn't it?

Apparently I need to be more of an asshole!
