Sleep time
How come in the middle of the night I can't fall back asleep? I mean I drift in and out but for the most part once my eyes are open at 3am I can't get back into that deep sleep...pisses me off really. I want the days of being 17 again just so I can get into that deep sleep...just once.
I am thinking that we need a new bed soon, ours is getting almost 10 years old and I am obviously not sleeping on it very well. And if you think about it we spend close to a third of our lives sleeping, so why not buy a really good bed.
I figure that you know when you are getting old when the "select number bed" commercial looks "really" cool. I wonder what number I am?

Might I make a mattress suggestion? We were in the same situation last spring; our mattress was just about 11 years old. ANYHOW, we purchased a terry cloth, flocked, pillow-topped Simmons Beauty Rest mattress and box spring and OMG it is THE most incredible premium mattress one will ever use. It was $1200, but worth every penny. It has individual springs, so when I turn (which I do consistently all night long for some unknown reason), hubby doesn't feel it. Kinda like the TV commercial with the lady dropping the bowling ball, or jumping up and down with the wine glass full of wine just sitting there. I would purchase it over and over again and can't recommend it highly enough! The main reason we bought a new mattress & box spring was because I was having back problems (slipped disc) and not sleeping well at night either. Both my doctor, and chiropractor told me that 10 years is the limit on mattresses. ~ Becky
See that is the kind of bed that I want.....one that when you get into it, it is the best most wonderful, full of sunshine, rainbows and balloons kinda feeling.....now it is just a cold place to sleep (well other than Jen being there...which is still very cool).
