Bugs a Buzzing!

I love Bob Uecker, and for those of you that don't know Uecker does play by play for the Milwaukee Brewers radio.

Now there is something nostalgic about his voice and his play by play, and his voice allows me to reminisce about being young and playing baseball. More importantly it reminds me of summer, being young when his voice wasn't really listened to but rather back round noise for other events that were going on.

You may ask yourself why did this pop up? Well I was sitting on my deck watching the boys play with the neighbors when in the distance I heard old Uecker. I couldn't make out what he was saying as the radio was turned down just so who ever was listening could hear. It wasn't until I heard his voice did I realize that he makes me happy. he can turn a regular old late afternoon/early evening and make it one that I can appreciate, the soft wind, the boys’ giggles, the buzzing of the bugs, the book being read and baseball in the background. It was a good night, a very good night indeed.
